Thought Bubbles

Posted on February 15, 2025

Did you know?

The best way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from purchasing is to purchase less and reuse or repair as often as possible.

We don’t need the shiny new things all the time: they all put a strain on our planetary resources through mining, harvesting, production, packaging, and transportation. Even “green products” are still new products that have “embedded” emissions and add to climate change.  Where can you cut back on your consumption?

Learn more about “consumption based emissions” here, and watch The Story of Stuff here.

Thought Bubbles are small sustainability-related items intended to make us think critically about sustainability and our role in reducing the impacts of climate change, hopefully in a fun or interesting way.
