May 5-11, 2019 is Municipal Clerks Week and it will be celebrating its 50th anniversary. Initiated in 1969 by International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) and endorsed by all its members throughout the United States, Canada and 15 other countries. This week is a time of celebration and reflection on the importance of the Clerk’s office.
Clerks all over the country celebrate this wonderful week, and this will be the first ever Municipal Clerk’s Week in San Rafael! The week will feature a week-long series of activities aimed at increasing the public’s awareness of Municipal Clerks and the vital services they provide for local government and the community.
How are we celebrating?
We are celebrating by sending out a daily dose of fun facts, trivia questions, and giving participants the opportunity to win a prize!
Tuesday 9:30 – 11:30: Snacks and throwbacks!
Wednesday 1:00 – 3:00: Snacks, knick-knacks, and artifacts!
