Health Benefits
Medical | City group health coverage, with the City paying a fixed dollar amount (below) toward the cost of the monthly insurance premium. Option to opt-out and receive $300 cash-in-lieu, with proof of other insurance.

Uniform Allowance | $567.50 at the completion of each six months of service ending May 31 and November 30. See MOU for more details |
Bilingual Pay (if eligible) | Up to $250 per month |
Specialty Compensation | Pay amounts vary by certification/position (Paramedic certification, Paramedic Liaison, EMT/Ambulance Drivers, etc.), as detailed in the MOU |
The SRFA employee group does not contribute to Social Security.
