My agreement was approved at the City Council meeting. How do I make sure it gets signed by the City?

Once your agreement has been approved by the City Council, route 2 copies of the agreement (already signed by the contractor) to the City Attorney’s office with the same Contract Routing Form you used for City Attorney review prior to the City Council meeting. Once the city attorney signs the agreement is gets routed to the City Clerk’s Office for tracking, routed to the City Manager’s office for signature, and routed back to the City Clerk’s office for city clerk attestation. When the contract is fully executed, the city clerk will interoffice a copy to you, and will retain the original as the official record.
